About Randall Rootz
The Randall Rootz Festival was founded in 2007 in memory of Mark Randall - a passionate musician who was dedicated to supporting and promoting live music, organising events, and playing percussion.
Mark was a well-known and popular face on the music scene and ran the Peterborough Folk Rootz Festival until 2001. In recent years he played percussion both with The Dead Rabbits and with Angry Man (now angryman), who recorded a video tribute to Mark featuring his last recording, "Better Life".
We hope the Randall Rootz Festival will successfully continue the work Mark started and become a popular event on the festival calendar. More importantly, we wish the festival to be a fitting tribute to Mark Randall and his love of life, people, music and the environment.
The Randall Rootz Festival is brought to you by Randall Rootz Community Music, a charitable association registered in Peterborough, England.
